Spirit Camp
Spirit Camp is a weekend retreat in the
Berkshire Mountains where men gather
around the fire, speak honestly, and
remember who they are.
Running continuously since 1992. Over 60
camps held.
Is Spirit Camp For You?
You might be ready for Spirit Camp if…
You’re connected online but still feel alone in real life.
You long to sit by a fire and speak honestly without being fixed or judged.
You’re wishing for some solo time to reflect on life’s questions.
You want mentors who will listen to you, not lecture you.
You want to remember who you were before the world told you who to be.
You want to spend a weekend outdoors, enjoying the company of your peers and elders.
You’re navigating fatherhood, aging, loss, or just the relentless noise of daily life.
You are under 30 and curious what older men might see in you that you cannot yet see in yourself.
What Happens at Spirit Camp?
You’ll spend a weekend in the Berkshire Mountains with 25–35 men. There are no phones, no screens, and no agenda you have to follow.
What You Can Expect
We gather in a large circle council. Real men. Real stories. Listening as much as speaking.
There is time in the sweat lodge for those who choose it. There is drumming. Poetry. Silence. Laughter. Ancient ritual practiced in a simple, grounded way.
We share meals. We walk in the woods. There is time alone to reflect. Time in small groups. Time in the full circle.
No one will ever be pushed to speak.
The invitation is simply this:
Come as you are.
